2017 NFL Draft Results: Redskins Select Ryan Anderson In the Second Round

The Redskins draft Ryan Anderson, LB, Alabama in the second round.

With their second round pick, the Washington Redskins have added Ryan Anderson to the family. The linebacker out of Alabama will certainly look nice in burgundy and gold, and figures to be a factor on game day immediately.

Just one pick prior to the Redskins going on the clock, Joe Mixon, the talented but baggage-rich running back out of Oklahoma was taken by the Cincinnati Bengals. Many of us wondered if he was even on the Washington board, and the reaction—even from Bengals fans—was pretty negative.

In two rounds of this draft, Bruce Allen has made the first two levels of our defense better...not too shabby.
