Redskins Injury Update: Jordan Reed, 2 others placed on IR

Reed's injury-filled season is finally over

NFL: Cleveland Browns at Washington Redskins Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The Redskins have finally ended TE Jordan Reed's season after missing the last 6 games with a hamstring injury. Reed has been dealing with multiple injuries this year, starting with a toe injury in the offseason. He has not looked like the dynamic player we are used to seeing on the firld when he is healthy, and this turned into a lost season for him, and the team.

The Redskins also placed LB Chris Carter and RB Byron Marshall on IR today. Carter fractured his fibula in Sunday's loss to the Chargers. Marshall injured his hamstring on a kick return.

Washington also signed RB Kapri Bibbs, LB Otha Peters, and LB Pete Robertson to the active roster. All three players were on the Redskins practice squad. LB Alex McAlister, RB Dare Ogunbowale, and S Orion Stewart were signed to the practice squad.
