In surprising news, the Redskins had more injuries this week. RB Rob Kelley(MCL/high-ankle sprains) and ILB Will Compton(Lisfranc) could possibly go to IR, and the team has made some moves today. Earlier today Ben Standig reported that DL Brandon Banks, signed from the practice squad last week, would be released. He also reported that OL Tyler Catalina, who started Weeks 8 and 9, won’t be added to the practice squad.

The Redskins are adding DT Caraun Reid according to his agent Mike McCartney. Reid(6’2”, 302 lbs, 25yo) was a 5th round pick by the Detroit Lions in 2015. He spent two years with the Lions, and was claimed by the Chargers after being waived in 2016. Reid played in 34 NFL games with 12 starts. He has 36 tackles, and 3 sacks in his career. The Redskins are waiting for Matt Ioannidis to return from hand surgery, and he was reportedly out of his cast Sunday night.

The Redskins are also signing RB Byron Marshall from the Eagles practice squad according to the Washington Post’s Master Tesfatsion. Rob Kelley has been dealing with multiple injuries all season, and could be heading to IR very soon with his current injuries. Marshall(5’9”, 201 lbs, 23 yo) was an undrafter free agent out of Oregon last year. He was signed to the Eagles practice squad, and had a brief stint on the main roster last December. He ended up on Philly’s practice squad again this year, and will now be the Redskins #3 RB.
