The Washington Redskins returned to the field for their first practice in almost a week. Head Coach Jay Gruden wanted to get an extra practice in today after the extended bye week break.
Gruden didn't offer much news on the injury front, mentioning Zach Brown was out with illness (Tyler Catalina also reportedly missed due to illness. D.J. Swearinger(hamstring) and Trent Williams(knee) were also out).
He did shed a little more light on Josh Norman's injury situation. The Redskins star CB is recovering from a rib fracture, but doesn't have a lung issue as Ian Rapoport previously reported. He also mentioned the 2-4 week prognosis. A more detailed injury report will be released following Wednesday's normal practice.
