Stepping up a notch each on the depth chart will be third-round pick Fabian Moreau and seventh-round selection Josh Holsey. Moreau has been active every game but he played sparingly on defense until Norman departed the Chiefs game. He is viewed as a potential future starter but he will be tested if he has to play a major role.

Now Manning and Rivers — the men swapped for one another in that famous draft day trade — face off for only the fourth time in their careers. It also could be the final time they meet, at least as the starting quarterbacks for the Giants and Chargers. Those franchises are not scheduled to meet again until 2021 in the regular season, and it’s hard to envision them clashing in a Super Bowl anytime soon. The odds of two 0-4 teams not only making the postseason but meeting in the Super Bowl have to be in the millions (and yeah, that’s never happened before).
