JUST IN: Zeke Elliott’s case will not be heard this week by Judge Failla, which means he WILL play vs. Washington on 10/29. https://t.co/kJfgWlMWXR

The saga of Ezekiel Elliott, and the many law firms of Jerry Jones will continue for another week. This means Zeke will be on the field for the Cowboys when they visit the Redskins next Sunday afternoon. Elliott had his best game of the season yesterday against the 49ers, rushing for 147 yards and 2 TDs and getting another TD on a 72 yard reception.
The NFL was trying to speed up the hearing to have Elliott's 6-game suspension for domestic violence reinstated. Judge Failla denied that request and it will be heard on its original date October 30th.
If Elliott's suspension is started next Monday, he will miss the next 6 weeks of the season. Those games are against the Chiefs, Falcons(away), Eagles, Chargers, Redskins, and Giants(away). Not an easy stretch, and could eliminate the Cowboys from playoff contention, now that they are talking about the Super Bowl again after blowing out the 49ers.
