The Washington Redskins(3-2) visit the Philadelphia Eagles(5-1) for a prime time division game on Monday Night Football. The Redskins need a win this week to stay in the race for the NFC East division. The Eagles(5-1) are currently in 1st place, while the Cowboys(2-3) and Giants(1-5) are completely falling apart. The Redskins play back-to-back division games(Eagles, Cowboys), and need every win they can get.
Washington will be missing CB Josh Norman(ribs), tackle Ty Nsekhe(core muscle), and G Tyler Catalina(concussion) when they face the Eagles. RB Rob Kelley(ankle) and S Deshazor Everett(hamstring) are questionable, and both should be returning to the field this week. . LT Trent Williams played last week, despite a knee injury that he says will require surgery after the season.
The Redskins are 4.5 point underdogs going into Philly to face the Eagles in prime time. The Redskins lost the season opener against the Eagles, and need a win to even the series and go to 4-2 for the year. The Eagles currently have the best record in the NFL, and are due for a 2nd loss. This game will be ugly.
