The Redskins have been dealing with injuries every week, and continue to have new players get dinged up. This week's victory over the 49ers cost them DE Jonathan Allen(Lisfranc), K Dustin Hopkins(hip, reportedly out for the year), and possibly CB Bashaud Breeland(knee). They were already without CB Josh Norman(ribs), S Deshazor Everett(hamstring), and RB Rob Kelley(ankle) last week, and had Trent Williams playing with an injured knee.
Washington has depth at a lot of positions, and has been able to cover themselves with the players they already have on the roster. Jonathan Allen's injury should keep him out for a month, minimum, and Anthony Lanier will be active to enter the rotation. One spot the Redskins dont have depth (obviously) is kicker, and Jay Gruden said the team would be working out a few this week(Hopkins reportedly done for the year). Washington also reportedly brought in 16 other players, including forner Redskins WRs Rashad Ross and Kendal Thompson.
