Early buzz: Gus Bradley is atop Redskins' list of defensive coordinator candidates. GM Scot McCloughan knows him well from their time in SEA

Worth noting, Gus Bradley was DC in Seattle from 2009 to 2012. McCloughan was there from 2010-2013. McCloughan is thought to be a big fan of Bradley.
Where was Bradley before Seattle hired him? He was the LB Coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2006-2008. Jay Gruden was an Offensive Assistant there from 2002 to 2008. Additionally, Bruce Allen was the GM of the Bucs from 2004 to 2008.
And who did Gus Bradley replace as the LB Coach in TB? Joe Barry! Barry was the LB Coach in TB and then got hired as the DC for the Detroit Lions. That’s when TB hired Bradley to replace Barry. Bradley has been the DC at his alma mater North Dakota St. prior to joining TB.
