The Redskins’ greatest weakness is almost certainly along their DL. They obviously have a ton of work to do their this off-season.
According to Mark Eckel of NJ.com, the Redskins intend to make a play for Logan in FA.
And although that is roughly six weeks away, rumors are starting to swirl. According to a person with knowledge of the Washington Redskins' plan, the Redskins will target Logan if he hits the open market.
Logan’s one of the top run-stuffing DL in the league and is a prototypical fit for a 3-4 scheme. He’s a 27-year-old who’s 6’2”, 315 lbs., and drafted in the third round out of LSU. He can play NT and/or DE in a 3-4. Most seem to think (and the stats show) NT is his best spot.
Bennie Logan’s a guy who could solve the Redskins issues at NT for years to come...
So what do you think? Why should the Redskins pursue Logan? Why shouldn’t they? How much is he worth? Discuss below.
