The Washington Redskins have reportedly ended their defensive coordinator search, and will promote OLB coach Greg Manusky. The team wanted Gus Bradley, but he agreed to be the Chargers new DC this weekend. The Redskins interviewed seven candidates for the job, but Manusky seemed to be one of the favorites early in the process.
Manusky has been a Defensive Coordinator for three teams before getting the job in Washington. He was DC for the 49ers(2007-2010) during Scot McCloughan’s time there as an Executive/GM. He moved on to the Chargers in 2011, and then spent four years(2012-2015) as the DC for the Colts.
Redskins to promote Greg Manusky to defensive coordinator, sources tell me and @RapSheet. This will be his fourth stint as a DC.

Redskins still will have Kirk Olivadotti as ILB coach, and they'd like to keep Aubrey Pleasant and promote to DBs coach. Still in talks.
