Player Overview

Leonard Fournette is a legit workhorse running back. He is what we hoped Matt Jones would be, only much, much better. Fournette has the size, speed, power and vision to give just about any offense in the NFL an out-of-the-box 1,200 yard, 10 TD back.

Fournette had an ankle injury that limited his junior year, but when he plays he had absolutely absurd production.

Can drum up a hot take right on the spot by skipping a bowl game.

Strengths

  • Has awesome highlight reel
  • Breakaway speed in the open field
  • Embarrasses DBs when he lowers his shoulder

Weaknesses

  • Has had an ankle issue in college
  • Cares too much

How He Would Fit On The Redskins

Leonard Fournette could really take full advantage of Jay Gruden giving him 8 carries per game. But seriously, a running back like this could propel this offense into the stratosphere. And I’m a little jealous of Zeke, I’d like nothing more than to one-up Dallas with a better running back.

I know defense should and probably will be the primary focus of the 2017 draft, but if Fournette was there at 17 the boner might be too engorged to contain.
