Former Jacksonville Jaguars HC Gus Bradley is at Redskins Park today to interview with the Washington Redskins for their vacant DC position. It has been reported that he is the front-runner for the position.
Prior to becoming the HC of the Jags, Bradley was the DC of the Seattle Seahawks while Scot McCloughan was there and also worked on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers staff at the same time as Jay Gruden while Bruce Allen was the GM there.
It’s noteworthy that Bradley became the LB Coach in TB when their previous LB Coach, Joe Barry, was hired as the DC of the Detroit Lions.
Before joining the NFL ranks, Bradley coached in college for 16 years.
The Redskins already interviewed former Browns HC Mike Pettine earlier this week and have been given permission to interview Carolina DB Coach Steve Wilks.
