During practice yesterday, Dallas Cowboy WR Dez Bryant suffered a concussion that will cause him to miss the rest of the preseason. He’s been officially ruled out for the Cowboys third preseason game against Seattle and players of Bryant’s caliber basically never play in the fourth preseason game. Their first game that actually counts will come on September 11th against the Giants. Will Bryant be cleared by then? That remains to be seen.
You’ll recall that Bryant broke his foot last year, requiring two surgeries, then hurt his knee upon returning. All in all, Bryant missed nine games in total last season.
DT Tyrone Crawford also suffered a concussion in practice Monday and will miss the Seattle game.
