Player Overview

Is it a heat seeking missile, or is it Kavon Frazier? This big safety prospect is always in on the takedown and he has some pop on his hits – and he loves it. Frazier has a non-stop motor and a gift for blitzing off the edge. He flashes great instincts, especially when defending read option runs his eyes stay on the ball and he isn't easily fooled.

Frazier plays very aggressively and tends to lose sight of the ball if he was even looking for it in the air. There some contact downfield that you don't want to see at the NFL level because it will be called as PI. Frazier played both box safety and single high at Central Michigan but it's clear that his bread and butter is being physical while defending the run – for now. If put in the right situation to develop and with a little bit of seasoning Frazier could develop into a nice overall safety in the NFL.

How He Makes the Cowboys Better and Creates Problems for the Redskins

Frazier is a late round safety who the Cowboys will want to develop to become more well rounded. In the meantime, they can rely on Frazier to make solid tackles and deliver hard hits on special teams. Frazier isn’t likely to see the field outside of injuries to starting safeties Byron Jones and Barry Church. He isn’t a player the Redskins should have to worry about too much this year but return men should be wary of his presence coming down the field he can ring some bells and force some fumbles.
