5 Redskins Make Silva's Top 150 Fantasy Players List

Five Washington Redskins have made it onto Rotoworld's Evan Silva's top 150 fantasy players list. That's an improvement over last year's 3 players in the top 150 which featured Alfred Morris, Desean Jackson, and Pierre Garçon. The Redskins have the most players of any NFC East team on this list.

This year Silva's list features:

No. 35 Jordan Reed

Silva's Note: Last year's overall TE1 in points/game. Target total likely to dip.

My Note: I don't think Jordan Reed's targets are likely to drop at all. If he remains healthy he should keep up the pace of last season, if not improve upon it. Remember, he is the go-to option in the Red Zone as well.

No. 61 Matt Jones

Silva's Note: His rookie preseason: 7.0 YPC. Real games: 3.40 YPC, 5 fumbles.

My Note: If you're wondering why Matt Jones is so highly ranked amongst fantasy running backs RBs(20), look no further than the article I wrote about why he will have a breakout season. The good folks at RotoViz seem to agree as well.

No. 72 Desean Jackson

Silva's Note: Hurt all last year. Overall WR17 in 2014, WR10 in 2013.

My Note: Desean Jackson is always a fantasy threat when healthy. If no tackling sled gets in his way, he should present a decent value in the 6th to 8th rounds.

No. 106 Josh Doctson

Silva's Note: Upside WR4/5 whose path may be clearer than it appears.

My Note: A slightly bold projection by Silva considering the receivers ahead of Doctson currently on the depth chart, but Jay Gruden did say they could be working him in right away, particularly in the Red Zone.

No. 123 Kirk Cousins

Silva's Note: Underrated upside with D-Jax healthy & Doctson on board.

My Note: Not sure I would rank Kirk below guys like Rivers and Manning. If we are talking about fantasy upside I think Cousins has the upper hand with the amount the Redskins will be throwing the ball and the number of weapons he has.
