Washington Redskins Add Depth In Sixth Round with Nate Sudfeld

In the sixth round of the NFL Draft, the Redskins add depth at the quarterback position with the selection of Nate Sudfeld, the quarterback out of IU.

Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

The Redskins decided to use their pick this time, drafting in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Nate Sudfeld, the quarterback out of IU, will be asked to com in and study behind Kirk Cousins and Colt McCoy.

We all were pretty sure that McCloughan was going to take a quarterback, and we end up getting the one that Tim Strachan recommended early in the offseason. He has struggled with consistency as a starter, but his arm is pretty legit. His size is going to help him--at 6'6", he is the tallest quarterback on our roster (wait...does that make him a red zone threat? I kid.)

I was able to get Kevin but not Tim to get some draft reactions at this point in McLovin's masterpiece. Kevin can't get over how well a draft starts looking when you decide to be a Best Player Available team.

Here is a look at our newest project:
