The Redskins are really cleaning house today as they've added another name to the list of 2015 Redskins who won't be 2016 Redskins. S Jeron Johnson has been released. He signed with the Redskins last year as a FA. The deal was for two years. After expecting to take a starting role at safety, Johnson was beaten out by multiple other DBs and ended up serving as a backup and special teams player for the entirety of the season. The move will save the Redskins ~$1M in cap space.
