Joe Kim Leaving Redskins to Join the Browns

The martial arts expert guy...

After one season in Washington, martial arts expert Joe Kim is leaving the Redskins to join the staff of the Cleveland Browns.

Officially, Kim was a Strength and Conditioning Assistant in Washington but he was better known as the Taekwondo expert who helped players with balance, footwork, and leverage.  He was particularly focused on working with the pass rushers and Stephen Paea credited him quite a bit with improving his game.  In spite of injuries to Junior Galette and others in the Redskins pass rush, they still improved last year over the season prior.  Kim is a master at teaching hand placement and hand speed.

Kim is an Ohio native and this is his third stint in Cleveland.  He got his start in the NFL in Cleveland in 1992.
