Could Derrick Henry Actually Be In Play at #21 for Redskins?

Tim, Kevin and Ken kick around ideas on how to spend extremely valuable draft resources. A running back in the first round? Not as crazy as it sounds...but still pretty crazy.

We do enjoy mocking a good draft. Starting with the Andrew Billings selection in the SB Nation draft, the boys from The Audible bat around all the possibilities in the first round for McLovin and the Redskins.

It gets interesting because most mock drafts show Derrick Henry on the board when the Redskins select in the first round. Do you think the Redskins consider him at all, or do you think the needs are simply too great elsewhere? For my part, I can see Henry being a monster in the league, and I can make the argument for why a team like Washington decides to bring him in, but at the end of the day, I think it falls too much in the luxury column.

In this week's episode of the The Audible--Hogs Haven's official Redskins Podcast--the whiskey powers us through a lively discussion about the manner in which the Washington roster is likely to be built.

I look forward to getting butchered for a handful of the stupid things I said!

As always, thanks for listening and please keep sending in your suggestions, questions and critiques. We'd do it for you!
