Way has punted in 32 career regular season games, all with Washington since being claimed off waivers from Chicago during the 2014 preseason. In his debut season with the Redskins in 2014, he averaged 47.5 yards per punt, becoming the first member of the Redskins to lead the NFL in punting average for a season since Sam Baker in 1958.
[UPDATE: Contract details for Way's extension]
#Redskins signed P Tress Way, an exclusive rights FA, to a 4-yr extension worth $9.4M, source said. $2.95M guaranteed, $1.25M signing bonus.
