Upgrading safety: Yes, I think they should add depth here and I'd much prefer them doing so through the draft. DeAngelo Hall has a lot to learn about safety, but considering he made the switch midseason, he did rather well and they do like him. I also know they like Dashon Goldson and want him back, provided they can lower his cap number ($8 million). So they don't need to add more age to the mix as both are over 30. Duke Ihenacho's return might help, but we have no idea what he can contribute after missing most of the past two seasons with injuries.

When Robert Griffin III is released prior to the start of the league year on March 9 that number will jump to $26.4 million. They would have opportunities to create more by releasing some veterans but even at that they could comfortably carve out the $10 million for their quarterback.
