A very Merry Christmas to you and your families. HTTR!

Studs:

Kirk Cousins - Capt. Kirk was on his game today, showing why he is the present and future of this football team. He had two rushing touchdowns and one through the air. He was accurate, decisive and in total command of the offense all afternoon.

Chris Thompson - Thompson continues to show how dangerous he can be with the ball in his hands. He ran for a touchdown and caught a touchdown on the day.

DeSean Jackson/Pierre Garçon - Jackson and Garçon didn't find the endzone, but they were reliable targets for Cousins, helping the team rack up big plays and move the chains. The duo combined for 9 receptions and 208 yards.

The Offensive Line - The big boys up front did a nice job against a young, but talented Bears front seven. The Redskins put up 478 yards of total offense, including 208 yards rushing and four touchdowns. The unit allowed no sacks of Cousins.

Preston Smith - The Invisible Man came out of hiding today in a big way. He started off with a blocked field goal early in the game. He added two sacks(one was negated by a penalty), a tackle for loss, and multiple pressures; one of which resulted in an interception by Norman.

Josh Norman/Bashaud Breeland - The cornerback duo each had two picks on the day. Neither was perfect in coverage, and Breeland was called for a pass interference, but they made the big plays when the moments arose.

The Saints - They beat Tampa Bay!

Duds:

Greg Toler - Toler struggled on the day, missing tackles, and being a step late in coverage.

Mason Foster/Will Compton - The linebacking duo may rack up tackles, but they are all too often getting blocked at the second level, leaving huge running lanes for opposing offenses. Today was no different.
