Injury updates:

Replacements at ILB:

The Redskins have a long injury report again this week as they prepare to host the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football. Only one player has been ruled out so far, LB Su’a Cravens(upper arm/illness), but ILB Will Compton(knee) could join him before the game starts. Compton is listed as doubtful, but like Cravens, hasn’t practiced all week.

Martrell Spaight is expected to get his first career start for Compton, but he has also been limited all week with a shoulder injury. The Redskins will also have Terence Garvin and newly signed LB Nick Moody.

The Redskins are expected to get several starters back this week, including two on the offensive line. Center Spencer Long(concussion) and left guard Shawn Lauvao(groin) are both expected to start Monday, sending John Sullivan and Arie Kouandjio back to the bench. Safety Will Blackmon(concussion/thumb) is also expected to return to the lineup which could limit Deshazor Everett’s snaps.

Several defensive starters have also been limited all week and are listed as questionable going into this week’s game. DE Chris Baker has been dealing with several injuries this year, and the team is limiting his practices along with his snaps. OLB Ryan Kerrigan(knee) was also limited this week week, but is expected to receive his normal amount of snaps Monday.

Tight End Jordan Reed is still recovering from the grade 3 shoulder separation he suffered on Thanksgiving. He returned to the field last week, but was limited. Reed is expected to play again this week, and could see his snaps limited again. Vernon Davis will get the majority of the snaps at tight end, with Derek Carrier getting a handful again.
