The Redskins injury list is long, and they have already ruled out three players for Sunday’s game against the Eagles. The offensive line has been hurting for weeks with multiple injuries, and the suspension of LT Trent Williams. Now Williams is back but they will be missing two starters. The Redskins also have another 9 players listed as questionable.
Safety Will Blackmon and center Spencer Long are both in the NFL’s concussion protocol and have been ruled out this week. Deshazor Everett will take some of the snaps that Blackmon was getting in recent weeks. John Sullivan will replace Long at center again, and the Redskins will likely activate Kory Lichtensteiger who returned to practice from IR this week. Jay Gruden said Lichtensteiger could be back for depth, and the team will likely also be missing LG Shawn Lauvao this week with a groin injury. Backup DL Anthony Lanier will miss another game due to a shin injury.
Lauvao is listed as questionable, but all signs point to him missing the game, and Arie Kouandjio getting his second start of the year. Swing tackle Ty Nsekhe(ankle) is also listed as questionable this week, but hasn’t practiced all week and could also miss this week’s game making Trent William’s return more important. Vinston Painter will take over Nsekhe’s backup role if he is inactive. Right guard Brandon Scherff is also dealing with an ankle injury, but will play on Sunday.
Two Redskins defensive linemen are listed as questionable after being limited for a day or two this week. Chris Baker(ankle) and Ricky Jean Francois(foot/knee) are both expected to play vs the Eagles despite their limited practice this week.
Two of the Redskins three tight ends are listed as questionable. Jordan Reed is the name that everyone is watching as he tries to return to the field after missing last week with a Grade 2 shoulder separation. Reed missed last week, but has told reporters that he is planning on playing this week. Coach Gruden said it would be his call if the doctor’s say he is able to go, and Reed will play through the pain for the team’s final stretch. Derek Carrier was limited early in the week and a full participant on Friday with a knee injury.
Inside linebacker Will Compton(hip) and outside linebacker Preston Smith(groin) are both listed as questionable this week. Both are expected to play vs the Eagles.
Washington TE Jordan Reed, listed as questionable for Sunday vs Eagles due to a shoulder injury, is expected to play, per sources.

The Eagles have a short injury list this week. They will be getting WR Jordan Matthews and RB Ryan Matthews back this week. WR Dorial Green-Beckham is questionable with an abdomen injury. The Redskins, specifically Ryan Kerrigan, will miss RT Halapoulivaati Vaitai this week. “Big V” got his first start against the Redskins in Week 6 and was completely abused. He will miss this week with a knee injury and Allen Barbre will start at RT with Stefen Wisniewski likely starting at LG again.
#Eagles WR Dorial Green-Beckham (abdomen-questionable) is not expected to play Sunday vs. #Redskins, source said.
