Kirk Cousins has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Month for the second time in his career(also in December 2015), becoming the first Redskins player to win the award twice. The last Washington Redskins player to earn a player of the month award twice was Wilbur Marshall(91-92), and the last Redskins QB to win it was Todd Collins during the Redskins 2007 playoff run. Cousins is the second Redskins player to receive a player of the month award this season, kicker Dustin Hopkins won NFC Special Teams Player of the Month in September.

Cousins was great last month, going 84-of-116 (72.4%) for 1,086 yds 8 TDs and 0 INTs. Cousins averaged 362.0 passing yards per game and had a 124.4 QB rating. The Redskins finished November 2-1 with wins over the Minnesota Vikings, and Green Bay Packers, and a Thanksgiving Day loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
