The Redskins have reportedly signed form Green Bay Packers long snapper Rick Lovato today. The Redskins tried out several players this week following the back injury that Nick Sundberg suffered in the weight room this week. Sundberg has not been able to practice since the injury, and will likely miss the Packers game due to the injury. The Redskins have not officially announced this move, or the corresponding roster move that will need to be made.
Rick Lovato played for the Packers last season in 4 games, including 2 playoff games, after the Packers lost LS Brett Goode for the season due to a knee injury in Week 15. Lovato was with the Packers during the preseason, but was released before the season started.

What does all of this mean for Colt McCoy? If Nick Sundberg is inactive, Colt is still the emergency back up...
If longsnapper Nick Sundberg can't go Sunday, the #Redskins' emergency backup is....Colt McCoy?
