It was reported earlier this week, and then again this morning, that Redskins WR DeSean Jackson would miss today’s game against the Vikings. The latest report makes the shoulder injury sound more serious, and could cost him more games.
The Redskins will also be missing their Pro Bowl LT Trent Williams, who begins his 4 game suspension for violating the NFL’s Subtances of Abuse policy. Williams will be replaced by Ty Nsekhe on the left side of the line.
RB Matt Jones is a healthy scratch today, making “Fat Rob” Kelley the starter with Chris Thompson likely to get the other half of the offensive snaps. Mack Brown will be active today, and be mainly used on special teams.
