Report: DeSean Jackson out vs Vikings, could miss more time with shoulder injury

DJax will be out today, and could miss more time with a shoulder injury

NFL: Cleveland Browns at Washington Redskins Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

Multiple local sources were reporting on Thursday that DeSean Jackson had already been ruled out for today's game against the Minnesota Vikings. Head coach Jay Gruden said Jackson was dealing with a shoulder injury and the team would reevaluate him on Saturday.

Jackson has not practiced with the team all week, and was listed as doubtful on the team’s final injury report of the week Friday. It was expected that Jackson would miss today’s game, but Rapoport’s report suggests a bigger issue with Jackson’s shoulder. Gruden said that the team will use Ryan Grant, Rashad Ross, and possibly Jamison Crowder to fill in on certain calls for Jackson. The Redskins will already be missing Niles Paul(IR shoulder), Trent Williams(4 game suspension), and there is a chance that Morgan Moses(ankle) could sit today. The Redskins offense will be tested against this week against a Vikings defense that is looking for a get right game.
