In the team's final five games in December and January, Cousins completed 111-of-151 passes (73.5 percent) for 1,379 yards with 13 touchdowns and only one interception for a passer rating of 127.3. In the final four games, Cousins helped guide the Redskins to a 4-0 record and an NFC East championship.
Cousins led the NFL in completion percentage (73.5), passer rating (127.3) and yards per attempt (9.13) through the final five games. He was the only quarterback in the NFL to post a passer rating of 100.0 or better in each of the final five weeks of the season.
Kirk Cousins also won NFC Offensive Player of the Week twice this season for his performances in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and in Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints. The Redskins are currently riding a 4 game winning streak into the playoffs where they will host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. The team will look to Captain Kirk again to lead them to something they haven't done since 2005, win a playoff game.
