The Redskins have had a lot of noise surrounding the team this week with the announcement that Kirk Cousins is the new(est) starting QB. Robert Griffin III is still dealing with a concussion that took him out of the Lions game two weeks ago, and his future with the Redskins is a huge question mark right now. But there is a third QB on the roster, and there is one more football game to be played before the 2015 really starts. Colt McCoy will lead the Washington Redskins 2nd, 3rd, and 4th stringers into the Battle of the Future Grocery Baggers of America Bowl against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Redskins trimmed their roster down to 75 players this week, and will have 22 more to cut by September 5th. This is the bottom of the roster's shot to prove they belong in the NFL.

— John Keim (@john_keim) September 2, 2015
"I just come to work, man and do the best I can," McCoy said. "That's how I approach every day. ... I'm going to keep my reaction to myself. I want to show up every day and put a smile on my face and be the best version of myself I can. The guys in this locker room are awesome and at the same time I respect my coaches. I'll continue to be who I am and work as hard as I can. ... What's been done has been done."
Thanks for the memories last year Jacksonsville...
