The Washington Redskins signed linebacker Junior Galette to a one-year contract for the league minimum, $745,000 for a player of his experience.

The Redskins will also receive the right of first refusal to sign Galette in 2016. Galette's agent, Alvin Keels, said on Twitter that Galette is grateful for the second chance.

"The deal is for the league minimum," Keels wrote. "This deal isn't about the money. Junior feels that he has a lot to prove both on and off of the field."
