This year, the Redskins added Stephen Paea, Terrance Knighton, and Ricky Jean-Francois to a core DL unit that already included the likes of Jason Hatcher, Chris Baker, and Frank Kearse. With so much competition and talent ahead of him, can Robertson find his way onto the squad?
#1. During Travian's junior season in HS, he tore his ACL. As a true freshman at South Carolina, he was the only true freshman in the starting lineup for the Gamecocks first game of the season.
#2. The Redskins claimed Travian off of waivers in late December after he was waived by the Seahawks. He was signed for depth purposes after Jason Hatcher went to I.R. and Chris Baker was banged up and questionable for Week 17. The 'Skins were his third team last season (after Atlanta and then Seattle).
#3. Judging by his Twitter account, Travian seems like a genuinely great dude. Check him out @ROBERTSON_9TWO.
#4.
#5. Travian has appeared in 13 career games and amassed 5 tackles.
Bottom Line: The Redskins DL is a crowded place right now and that's a good thing. Robertson will have to work his tail off competing against guys like Kedric Golston and Frank Kearse to be the #6 or #7 DL on the roster. Otherwise, he could find himself on his fourth team very soon.
