Washington Redskins Player Profiles: Tajh Hasson

Tajh was a late addition to the Redskins and has flown under the radar so far. Can he make his mark?

Position: Cornerback

Height: 6'1", Weight: 195 lbs

College: UNLV

Drafted: Undrafted Free Agent

Tajh Hasson was signed as an undrafted free agent. I doubt many of us know too much about him. So right now is a great time to get to know Tajh Hasson.

#1. During his time at UNLV,  Tajh recorded 159 career tackles (119 solo) with 19 passes defensed, five forced fumbles, three interceptions and a sack.

#2. Tajh's first collegiate interception was off of future Redskins UDFA Connor Halliday (ret). Since I can't embed the video, check it out here.

#3. Tajh played with his half-brother, Tim, at UNLV. The brothers are just six months apart in age, but this was the first time they had ever played on the same team.

#4. At Tajh's pro day, he ran the 40 in 4.46 and 4.49 seconds, had a 37 1/2-inch vertical and 10-foot-9 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.35 seconds and the three-cone in 7.25 seconds. He also performed 21 strength lifts.

#5. Tajh is a dad! His son, Tajh Anthony Hasson, Jr, was born February 18, 2013. Happy belated Father's Day, Tajh!

Bottom Line: The Redskins have made a lot of moves on defense this offseason. Many of them have been the acquisition of younger players. Tajh could be a part of this movement.
