"I don't like to be outworked," Spaight said. "I always desire to be the best, and I push myself in every aspect. I feel when someone's out there resting, I have to be out there working. There's always someone trying to outwork me. That's the mentality I have."

Washington signed Alonzo Highsmith Jr., who was one of the tryout players in town this past weekend. Redskins post draft evaluation: Cornerback | ESPN Redskins Blog
Who will be the slot cornerback? Porter was signed to be that guy last season, but injuries derailed those plans. Yes, he had durability issues before the Redskins signed him. But there is a better chance for real competition there than there has been and Compton could have a chance.
