Well, I guess Jeremy Maclin likes Andy Reid better than Chip Kelly. Or maybe he just likes money... yeah, it's probably the money. Either way, it looks like Maclin and Reid will be reunited together with the Chiefs this week as yet another offensive weapon leaves the Eagles. Remember all those Eagle fans talking about how Jeremy Maclin was better than DeSean Jackson and how he easily replaced him...? Well now they're both gone. Now the Eagles have Riley Cooper, Jordan Matthews, and that's about it... oh, well at least they re-signed Mark Sanchez.
It's expected that the Chiefs will pay Maclin something close to what Randall Cobb is expected to get from the Packers (~$10M/yr). He'll be just about the only WR in the KC area and is a much needed addition for a team that just went an entire season with a TD reception from a WR. Re-read that.
DeSean Jackson...
LeSean McCoy...
Jeremy Maclin...
This ought to be interesting...
But hey, at least they kept Sanchez. Add him to Nick Foles, Riley Cooper, and Frank Gore and you have the beginnings of your 2015 Philadelphia Eagles.
