Mark Tyler's Post Combine Redskins Big Board

Updated big board for the Redskins draft following this year's Combine

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

With the NFL Scouting Combine all wrapped up, and free agency quickly approaching, I wanted to put out my updated Big Board for our Washington Redskins. There have been a few changes to my pre-Combine Big Board which I shared a few weeks ago, with some players dropping off, and a couple new names entering.

I went into the third round with this Big Board.

5th Pick:

Leonard Williams - DT(USC): Williams is all that and more. The complete package as a defensive linemen.

Dante Fowler, Jr. - OLB(Florida): Fowler showed off his skills in Indy, and should be a top 5 pick.

Shane Ray - OLB(Missouri): Ray didn't work out at the combine, but he's still one of the best pass rushers in the draft.

Amari Cooper - WR(Alabama): Cooper has great height/weight/speed combination, and his production was amazing.

Trae Waynes - CB(Mich. St.): Waynes blazed in his 40, and made a big jump up my board. Long, fast athletic defender.

Andrus Peat - OT(Stanford): Peat showed great feet in on-field drills, and remains my top offensive tackle prospect.

1st Round Tradeback:

Landon Collins - S(Alabama): Collins answered all the questions at the Combine. Loose hips, great size and speed.

Vic Beasley - OLB(Clemson): Beasley is a big riser for me after his impressive performance in Indy.

TJ Clemmings - OT(Pitt): Clemmings showed great on-field drills at the Combine. He's still the best pure RT in the draft.

Arik Armstead - DT(Oregon): Armstead is another big riser for me. He would be excellent as a 3-4 DE.

Bud Dupree - OLB(Kentucky): Dupree is a bit stiff in open space, but he's a terror off the edge.

Brandon Scherff - OT/G(Iowa): Scherff didn't do any drills at the Combine due to a hamstring injury. Still a solid prospect.

Malcom Brown - DT(Texas): Brown showed everyone great movement skills for a 320 lb man.

Marcus Peters - CB(Washington): Peters could rise a bit with a solid 40 time at his pro day.

La'el Collins - OT/G(LSU): I think Collins could kick inside to guard, but he did show the athleticism to play right tackle.

Jalen Collins - CB(LSU): Collins posted a sub 4.5 40, and has moved up my board.

Cameron Erving - C/OT(Florida St): The versatility Erving provides makes him a first round talent.

2nd Round:

Jake Fisher - OT(Oregon): Fisher had a great Combine. Reminds me of Lane Johnson.

Eddie Goldman - DT(Florida St): Disruptive force inside. Could be a nice 1-gap nose tackle.

Carl Davis - DT(Iowa): Davis has first round talent, but he's also a bit risky.

Ereck Flowers - OT(Miami): Flowers is a bit raw, but in time he can become a good offensive tackle.

PJ Williams - CB(Florida St): A slower than expected 40 dropped him a bit. Still a very good prospect.

Eli Harold - OLB(Virginia): Harold had a good combine, and showed he really wants to be a Redskin.

AJ Cann - G(South Carolina): Cann showed better than expected athleticism. Big riser for me.

DJ Humphries - OT(Florida): Humphries is still a bit raw, but his upside is high.

Donovan Smith - OT(PSU): Smith showed off his athleticism at the Combine, and was a big riser.

Sammie Coates - WR(Auburn): Coates is a huge target at WR. He showed speed many didn't think he had.

3rd Round:

Paul Dawson - ILB(TCU): A bad Combine and off-field concerns have dropped the productive linebacker.

Tre Jackson - G(Florida St): Jackson is a mauler who should be a plug-and-play guard.

Cedric Ogbuehi - OT(Texas A&M): Ogbuehi didn't work out at the Combine as he's recovering from knee surgery.

Ronald Darby - CB(Florida St): Darby ran a blistering 40, and raised his stock.

Laken Tomlinson - G(Duke): Another plug-and-play linemen.

Denzel Perryman - ILB(Miami): Perryman is simply a playmaker.

Adrian Amos - S(PSU): Amos had a good Combine, and certainly raised his stock.

Hroniss Grasu - C(Oregon): Grasu is a bit light, but he shows good power and the ability to anchor.

Cody Prewitt - S(Ole Miss): Prewitt didn't test as well as I thought, and has dropped a bit.

Jessie James - TE(PSU): James tested very well at the Combine, and showed no lingering effects from a shoulder injury.

Ben Koyack - TE(Notre Dame): I'm looking forward to seeing Koyack at his pro day.
