Sunday Football: Time to Root for the Patriots and Jets

New, comments

The Redskins lead the division, but could use a little help from the AFC East to keep it heading into tomorrow night's game vs the Cowboys

Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

The Washington Redskins are tied with the New York Giants at 5-6, but currently hold the lead in the NFC East. The Redskins play the Dallas Cowboys tomorrow, and a win will keep them in 1st for another week.  A loss for the Giants against the Jets would guarantee the Skins stay in first, and make everyone's Sunday a little brighter. A (guaranteed)loss for the Eagles is just icing on the cake, and makes the Chip noise in Philly get even louder. The Redskins need to take care of their own on Monday Night Football against the limping Cowboys, but could always use a little help from two teams that already defeated them this year.
