Redskins 2016 Opponents

New, comments

We know who and where, just not when.

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

NFL teams always play their three division rivals twice (once at home and once on the road), two other NFL divisions, and then the two teams in their conference not in one of those two other divisions they're already playing who finished ranked at the same spot in their division.  I know that's not super clear, but here's how it works out for the Redskins for 2016:

They'll play the Cowboys, Eagles, and Giants each twice (once at home and once on the road) as well as all four teams from the NFCN and the AFCN (the two divisions that each division squares off against rotate each year).  That leaves two games.  Since the Redskins will finish the season ranked first in their division, they'll play the two teams that also finished first in their division in the NFC (excluding the NFCN since they're already playing those teams, anyway).  That means they'll play the NFCW Champion Arizona Cardinals and the NFCS Champion Carolina Panthers.  So here's what we know:

Home Games

Away Games

Look for the dates for these games sometime in April.
