TE Derek Carrier suffered a season-ending knee injury (torn ACL & MCL) Sunday vs the Bears. He is now the third player, after Niles Paul and Logan Paulsen, at the TE position to suffer a serious, season-ending injury this year.
With Carrier out, what was already perhaps the thinnest position on the team is now even thinner. Je'Ron Hamm will probably move up to the TE2 spot behind Jordan Reed. He's about the same size as Reed, specializes as a receiver, struggles as a blocker, and has been on the PS for most of the season.
