Redskins vs Eagles Injury Reports: DeSean Jackson Will Miss 3rd Chance to Torch Eagles

DeSean Jackson will not play against his former team on Sunday

The game is on in Washington, and now we know a little more about this week's injuries. WR DeSean Jackson will miss his first opportunity of the year to burn Chip Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagles.  Jackson is still recovering from a hamstring injury from Week 1, and was unable to practice all week. Jay Gruden left the door open to the possibilityduring the week, and Jackson definitely wanted to play but the trainers shut him down to prevent further damage to his leg. Jackson will have to wait until Week 16 to face his former team again.

The two other payers that have been ruled out are CB DeAngelo Hall, and ILB Perry Riley, Jr.  Both were expected to miss this game after not practicing for the past two weeks due to injury. CB Chris Culliver is a big question mark for this week's game after leaving Wednesday's practice due to soreness in his knee. He was reportedly walking with a noticeable limp, and has not been able to practice for the rest of the week. His absence would be a serious blow to an already thin Redskins secondary, and could leave street free agent Will Blackmon, and converted UDFA WR Quinton Dunbar as the #2 and #3 CBs.  Not good...

Everyone else on this week's list is expected to be available for Sunday's game.

The Eagles will be missing LB Kiko Alonso, and DE's Taylor Hart and Cedric Thornton for Sunday's game. DeMarco Murray returned to practice fully on Thursday which should help to once again limit the effectiveness of the Philadelphia Eagles running game.
