Good news Redskins fans, despite the inclement weather on the east coast, you will still get to see the Washington Redskins play the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday at FedEx Field. Both teams are 1-2 and the Eagles are coming off of a 24-17 win against the New York Jets in a game where everything seemed to go right for the Eagles running game. The Redskins on the other hand suffered a tough division loss to the New York Giants 32-21.
The Redskins defense will need to be prepared for Ryan Mathews who is the Eagles' leading rusher with 112 yards on 29 carries and a touchdown; plus Darren Sproles is always a threat with the ball in his hands. The Redskins defense will have their work cut out for them in the running game but the Sam Bradford is no slouch. When he's on, he's on but when he struggles, the offense looks pretty bad. The Redskins are going to have to pressure him early and often and force Bradford to be bailed out by his rushing attack.
