They initially signed 8 players who ended the season on the practice squad. Then they signed 5 more players over the last week. Ricky Sapp(6'4", 252 lbs, 28 years old) was originally drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 5th Round of the 2010 NFL draft. His rookie season ended on IR with a knee injury, and arthroscopic knee surgery. He left the team/was cut the following year. He spent parts o the next three seasons(2011-2013) on the New York Jets active roster and practice squad. He was released in the middle of the 2013 season by the Jets, and claimed off of waivers by the Houston Texans where he played under defensive coordinator/head coach Wade Phillips. He signed his exclusive rights contract after the season, but was during the offseason. He was then brought back early in the season but ended the year on IR with a hamstring injury.
