The Redskins announced today that they have hired Mike Clark for their vacant Strength and Conditioning Coach position. The Redskins fired former Strength and Conditioning Coach Ray Wright earlier this month.
Mike Clark is 60 years old and was most recently the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Chicago Bears. He held the same role with the Seattle Seahawks from 2004-2009, including under Mike Holmgren during the 2005 season in which the Seahawks appeared in the Super Bowl. Prior to that he held the same position for the Texas A&M Aggies for 14 seasons. He has also been the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Kansas City Chiefs.
