The Washington Redskins have not offered Vic Fangio a contract to be the team's new Defensive Coordinator and he has left the building. Despite reportedly being highly interested in signing Fangio to be the team's new DC, the deal has not been wrapped up yet. Zac Boyer from the Washington Times first reported the lack of a contract offer. Fangio had dinner with Redskins brass last night, and then spent time today being interviewed for the position. It was also reported that Fangio does not have any other interviews lined up at the moment. This could potentially mean that the only competition the Redskins have will be the Chicago Bears, who interviewed him yesterday before he flew here. There has been other interest reported, but no teams have been named yet. The Oakland Raiders are looking for a DC, but have reportedly not contacted Fangio about the position.
Vic Fangio's interview with the #Redskins ended earlier this afternoon. He left without a deal because he was apparently not offered one.

FWIW: @ZacBoyer tweeted this and I heard same thing from source: Fangio was not offered the #Redskins DC job today...and so we wait. Again.
