The absence of Robinson leaves just three healthy safeties on the roster. The starters are Ryan Clark and Brandon Meriweather. That's fine as far as it goes. But the only backup is Akeem Davis and both Gruden and defensive coordinator Jim Haslett have said that he is still very much in the learning process when it comes to playing safety. If he has to do much more than play on special teams, the Redskins are in trouble.
