The Redskins officially announced several moves this afternoon. Bacarri Rambo's release was reported earlier, and this opened up a roster spot for Brandon Meriweather. Meriweather is returning from a 2 game suspension, and Rambo is leaving because of a 2 TD disaster as his replacement.

The team also announced that defensive lineman Derrick Hopkins has been waived. He was signed to the practice squad just 6 days ago after spending time with the Baltimore Ravens. He is being replaced by NT Hebron Fangupo(6', 324 lbs). Fangupo played college ball at BYU, and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Houston Texans in 2012. He also spent time with the Seahawks, Steelers and Chiefs. He has been active for 5 games in his 3 years in the NFL and has recorded 1 tackle.
