The seven inactive players for today's Jaguars game have been announced by the team, and there aren't any surprises on the list.  Tracy Porter, Akeem Jordan, and Jordan Reed were all ruled out by Head Coach Jay Gruden on friday at his presser. Kedric Golston was also not expected to play today due to a groin injury that kept him out of practice all week.  He was warming up on the field before the game, but he has also been ruled out.  This leaves 5 active defensive linemen on the roster with Jason Hatcher, Chris Baker, and Jarvis Jenkins expected to start, and Clifton Geathers and Frank Kearse as the rotational backups.

Colt McCoy will be inactive every game the two QBs in front of him are healthy.  Santana Moss is once again inactive which should not be a surprise to anyone.  He is the 5th/6th WR on the roster and doesn't contribute to special teams.  Rookie OG Spencer Long is inactive for the 2nd game in a row today.

Rookie OT Morgan Moses will be active for the first time in his NFL career this week.  He was inactive for Week 1, but due to several injuries last week to other positions, he will be active today.  Moses will likely be used on special teams in areas that Golston played.  Also, both of the Redskins starting offensive tackles appeared on the injury list this week. Trent Williams was listed with a shoulder injury and was limited in Wednesday's practice.  He was a full participant in practice the rest of the week and is listed as probable for today's game.  Right tackle Tyler Polumbus was on the injury report with an ankle injury, but was a full participant in practice all week.  Backup OT Tom Compton is also active today.

Rookie Safety Akeem Davis is also making his Redskins debut today on the active list.  He initially made the Redskins 53-man roster, but was cut when the team claimed S Duke Ihenacho from the Denver Broncos.  He signed to the team's practice squad, but was re-signed to the main roster this week.  Davis will help primarily on special teams today.

TE Logan Paulsen will start in place of injured TE Jordan Reed.

Kicker Kai Forbath will start today, and the Redskins plan to use Tress Way if he re-injures himself during the game/warmups.
