9/11 Anniversary: 13 Years Later

Remembering the 9/11 tragedy

Today marks the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York and Washington.  Everyone knows exactly where they were when they heard the news, and the way the nation reacted and came together afterwards.  I was working in a stone quarry at the time, and a co-worker named Ron came up to me as I had a shovel in my hand.  Work stopped for the rest of the day, as we gathered around a radio at the shop and heard the news reports, and crazy theories that were going around.

Please use this thread to share any stories or memories you have, and we'll attempt to keep politics out of it.
