Redskins Roster Cutdowns Aftermath: Waiver Claims, Workouts and Practice Squads

The Roster cuts are in, now we wait to see what other moves will happen today.

Geoff Burke-US PRESSWIRE

At 12 PM today, all of the players cut yesterday who weren't vested veterans(4+ years credited) will have either cleared waivers or been claimed by a new team.  This is also the time that teams can begin signing players to their practice squads.  The league added two extra spots to the practice squad this year, and those spots have expanded eligibility rules that basically allow players from the last two drafts to be eligible.

With 10 spots on the squad, a lot of players the Redskins cut yesterday should be back with the team, but there should also be some new faces.  The Redskins have already begun working out players.  Could there be a new players on the 53-man roster today from another team's scrap heap?
